    With the current county increase in positive COVID cases and in our area, the Pennsylvania Department of Health and Department of Education are strongly encouraging full-remote learning. Tomorrow, Friday, November 20th, grades K-5 will attend school in-person and grades 6-12 will be remote. Beginning on Monday, November 23rd through Friday, December 4th all students K-12 will be full remote learning.

    District officials will re-evaluate our situation Thursday, December 3rd, with an announcement made on December 3rd regarding our following weeks schedule. We plan to return on December 7th with our current hybrid in-person schedule. Career and Technology students will attend the Career and Technology Center tomorrow.

Welcome to the Juniata Valley School District Web-Site. We trust that you will find the information you are seeking on our site. In review of our site, I believe you will recognize the pride in accomplishments of our students, parents, teachers, administration and support staff. The District works cooperatively with the community in providing our students with the best academic and extra-curricular opportunities.  

We encourage students to develop communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills throughout their Elementary and Secondary experiences. We also strive to instill resiliency and confidence in our students to ensure future successes.
