  KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION

  2021-2022

The Juniata Valley School District has announced Kindergarten registration for children who will be five years of age before September 1, 2021 and reside within the Juniata Valley School District.  A date for Kindergarten registration has not been scheduled yet, but information will be sent out as soon as it becomes available. We are starting to take names of eligible students for the 2021-2022 school year.

Parents of eligible children must call the school to register at 669-4422, ext. 1501 or email mmyers@jvsd.org. Once registered, information packets will be mailed out to families at a later time once the date for registration has been scheduled, along with your scheduled date and time for registration day. If you need to change your date or time after receiving the packet, please call the office as soon as possible.

Immunization requirements for admission to school include the following: 

•4 doses of tetanus, diphtheria and acellular pertussis (1 dose given after the fourth birthday)

•4 doses of polio (4th dose on or after 4th birthday and at least 6 months after previous dose given)

•2 does of measles, mumps, rubella

•3 doses of hepatitis B

•2 doses of varicella (chickenpox) or evidence of immunity

Along with the immunization records, copies of the following are required:

•child’s birth certificate

•social security number

•Proof of residency
