  KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION

  2020-2021

The Juniata Valley School District has announced Kindergarten registration for children who will be five years of age before September 1, 2020 and reside within the Juniata Valley School District.  Registration has been scheduled for Monday, March 30 and Tuesday, March 31, 2020 at the Juniata Valley Elementary School.

Parents of eligible children must call the school to register at 669-4422, ext. 1501. Once registered, information packets will be mailed out to families in early March, along with your scheduled date and time for registration day. If you need to change your date or time after receiving the packet, please call the office as soon as possible.

Immunization requirements for admission to school include the following: 

•4 doses of tetanus, diphtheria and acellular pertussis (1 dose given after the fourth birthday)

•4 doses of polio (4th dose on or after 4th birthday and at least 6 months after previous dose given)

•2 does of measles, mumps, rubella

•3 doses of hepatitis B

•2 doses of varicella (chickenpox) or evidence of immunity

•

Along with the immunization records, copies of the following are required:

•child’s birth certificate

•social security number

•Proof of residency
