OUT OF THE DARKNESS WALK Marketing Poster

Dear Families of Juniata Valley School District,

The Out of the Darkness Walk will be at Juniata College on Saturday, April 13th. The walk raises awareness about and provides support to those impacted by suicide. Our motto this year We’ll see you tomorrow! highlights our focus on hope for the future and reminds us that we are not alone. We would love for you and your family to participate in this community event.

  • Where: Juniata Campus Quad
  • When: 11:00am to 1:00pm, Saturday, April 13th

Connect with others as you enjoy food trucks, help to create a community mural, and gather information about resources to support mental health in our community. All proceeds from the event go to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, which supports advocacy and education opportunities in our community.

For more information, register for the event, or make a donation, visit Out of the Darkness Walk at JC

Good mental health is the foundation of a healthy community. We can save lives by coming together, building awareness, and supporting conversations about mental health. Always remember the crisis lifeline 988 is only a text or call away if you are anyone you know is in distress.

Together we can create an environment where everyone feels heard and supported. Together we can make a difference.

We’ll See You Tomorrow!
